Overview

Post Fata Resurgo is a group show curated by Caio Twombly featuring Jenny Saville and five emerging artists: Eva Beresin, Anders Lindseth, Pietro Moretti, Marco Scarpi and Adrian Schachter.

On the 30th of September 2021, Spazio Amanita presented its third ever show in Florence at Via dei Sassetti n. 1; a multimedia pictorial exhibition entitled "Post Fata Resurgo".
The exhibition was born from the gallery's vision of bringing international and national emerging artists to Florence in order to invigorate the world of contemporary art in the city. The show, curated by Caio Twombly, was conceived to coincide with the Jenny Saville’s retrospective at the Museo del Novecento. The great English painter was present with a piece on display along with five emerging artists from the international scene: Eva Beresin, Anders Lindseth, Pietro Moretti, Marco Scarpi and Adrian Schachter. The pictorial works on display were made with a spectrum of different materials, from the classic oil on canvas, to acrylics, watercolors, pastels and marble dust. Differentiated by the different techniques of each artist, these works are connected by their different subjects interpreted with irony and modern humor, which together create a sort of vortex that leads to another dimension in a tragi-comic renaissance.
